Welcome to HamSouth Baptist! We are a welcoming church that loves to have visitors join us. So to try and remove some of the anxiety that often comes with visiting a new church, we have gathered some of the basic info about how our Sundays run, and what we are about, so you know what to expect when you get here.
When you arrive at one of our 10am Sunday Services, you will be greeted at the door by a friendly member of our congregation. They will give you a copy of our newsletter; this contains a little info about what is happening that Sunday, and what is coming up in the life of the church.
The service itself is a contemporary one, that goes for approximately 80 minutes, after which tea and coffee are available in the foyer for you to get to know some of the church whānau over.
At least once a term we have a Whānau Service, where the entire church family gathers to worship together. After these services we also have a whole church shared lunch - they're services you don't want to miss!
If you have kids, be sure to bring them along too, as we run a great kids program during our main service. Were also have a wide variety of different ministries here at HamSouth that cater to all ages and stages.
For more info about our kids programme, youth group and other ministries, see our Connect page, or click here.
